Got to our hotel and Lazy Dog was the closest place to eat. We got seated right away. The server came right over and was very personable. The menu had American foods (burgers etc) as well as different things. I recommend the Ahi Tuna Poke Jar. Twice, food was tried to be delivered to our table by mistake. (no big deal). The manager came out to apologize and brought us a free appetizer as well as a card for a free app. on a future visit. Our food came out quickly and correctly. I would recommend this place to anyone. The prices were very reasonable for the area.
Update: I guess they are very pet friendly now because someone brought their pet bird to dine on the patio last night. It sat on the table and ate off a plate.
Lazy Dog is our go-to for great food and vibe. We try to get something new each time and we are never disappointed. I will wait a good half hour for the patio because the music and atmosphere is amazing. The servers are always accommodating and quick. This place is always busy!
A unique vibe to this place. Mainstream chain feel but with hipster ingredients and lots of flannel shirts. Food was very good. The pork noodle bowl and the fried chicken sandwich were both excellent. Friendly staff and decent prices. Recommended.
Waitstaff is excellent. Food was delicious and looked appealing. Perfect outdoor patio - went with friends after taking our pups to beach. They bring ice water bowls for pups - have menu for dogs, too, but didn't utilize.
I get that the Lazy dog is popular and I think some of their starters are flavorful and a nice spin on oversold favorites... That's is where I don't get it. Why just change up a favorite and serve it? The expectation is to taste the original when one orders it and if it is so far from that is it possible to satisfy? For me no. Either be better than mom's/the best I've ever had, or show me something. Great servers, great decor, clean friendly but the food, for me, is not quite there.
