“First time dining here and had a great experience. We sat outside and started with the $1 oysters which were great. Our server was great and made good recommendations, the manager also stopped by to introduce himself. The seabass crudo was a great start, light and mild. The smoked salmon toast was delicious with a lot of smoke/salt flavor. The baba chicken was really good with a delicious mix of spices and seasoning. We ended with the bread pudding which was good.”

“Biscuit and chicken are good, pimento cheese is delicious. I prefer crispier fries though, and the seasoning was very unevenly spread. One of the biscuits in our order was missing at first, but they quickly remedied the issue. Also, there are only about 5 small tables outside the place, but no tables inside.”

“Quality delicious food with great customer service and good value for the area. Really glad this opened up here. I want people to come in here so they will thrive but at the same time I want to keep it to myself so it will be a special spot. Used to make it a point to run errands in Simi Valley to get something like this but I don't need to do that anymore. They just didn't have high chairs so we used our baby car seat. Just opened up so that's probably why.”

“Wow what a fantastic restaurant and bar. I cannot overstate what a great time we had here. First off the service was amazing. The staff was top notch and really made the evening enjoyable. We started the evening with the bacon wrapped shrimp which was fantastic. Then the spicy tater tots... a lot of restaurants just over cover the tots so there is no crunch...not at Phil's they came out perfect. Just the right amount of crunch while still getting just enough of the spicy sauce to taste it but not over power the tater tot. Finally as the last appetizer the Mac and Cheese.....now I have had Mac and cheese before and I like to think I make a pretty good Mac and Cheese....Phil's place has made me question my ability, and made my Mac and Cheese feel like it may as well have come from a box....it was hands down one of the best cheese sauces I have tried...not sure what the secret is but I would come back just for that.....the Entrees were just as good. We all shared a steak, the roasted chicken and the schnitzel. Each and every dish was spectacular. One of our group makes a darn good schnitzel and she is now crying that she can no longer make schnitzel after tasting the schnitzel at Phil's. I was thoroughly impressed and if you are in the area this new restaurant is a definite must try. Thanks Phil's you have really made a great first impression can't wait to try more of your menu!”

“Upon looking for some vegetarian friendly tacos, Armando's in Thousand Oaks was recommended on Google with great reviews. The reviews were justified, as the tacos here were absolutely delicious! I ordered the Beyond Meat and regular Fried Crunchy tacos and am still thinking about them. Perfectly crispy and tons of flavor. “I had never tried a “waffle experience“ restaurant before. I decided to give this one a try. I always love so examined for breakfast, but was a little hesitant with a waffle sandwich. I’m glad I took the risk and it was an excellent meal. The smoked salmon tasted perfect, very fresh and the waffle itself was quite yummy. It came with a small salad and was a great start to the day!”

“Very sweet server but English not good so hard to clarify menu items. Had blossom fish sweet and sour, huge portion for one. I don't normally eat the batter but as it was perfectly cooked the doggy bag was good later. Prices seem cheap especially for sides where the rice was $1.50 and bottled water must cost them more than the $1 they charge. Good quality food at a reasonable price”
