Excellent service and good food. Friendly atmosphere. Small, very nice place to enjoy a good meal. If you are ever out this way, come hungry.
The service was quick and they made sure we had everything we needed. The place was packed at 10 am on a Wednesday morning, so I know it's good. The specials are hand-written on a chalkboard outside. It's a little out of the way in an industrial block, but worth the trek. Only suggestion: serve gravy, not syrup, with these fried chicken thighs in bacon waffles.
It’s was OK.... Country atmosphere, was seated within a few minutes and placed order shortly after.
Food took about 12 minutes or so to come out.
One of my daughters had the Mickey Mouse pancake which was nice with wipped cream and sprinkles, also included eggs and sausage.
My other daughter and I had the Chicken fried steak which came with eggs, biscuits with gravy and chunks of fried potatoes called home fries.
The taste was average but was disappointed that the chicken fried steak was not prepared fresh. It was store bought and cooked. It did not have any flavor and was slightly cold. The gravy was good and the only way I could eat the steak.
Other things on the menu may be better but I don’t recommend the chicken fried steak and also was told the chicken strips are store bought as well.
A bit crowded but that's probably because it was raining and the outside seating was closed. The service is awesome and very friendly. They also didn't mess up my eggs like eggs n things usually do!
Their fries are SO good. Great chicken salad. Super fast service. Awesome local business with super yummy food and great service. If you’re in Newberry Park for breakfast or lunch, Side street is a must-go. It sneaks up on you though, so make sure to look for the sign and uphill driveway.
