Jinky's has a nice long Happy Hour -- 2p-7p, with a nice selection of generously portioned items. They always have several types of chili ranging from mild to quite hot.
The entreés on the main menu are equally large and delicious!
Diana is an attentive, but not hovering, server.
This might be one off but when I visited here for breakfast it was quite full and it seemed like they were understaffed as we only had 2 waiters waiting on all of the tables. I wanted to have butter for my english muffins but had to wait for more than 15min to actually wave to the waiter and get one. Since we were sitting outside, they were cold by then and hence of no use. The food is good but not at par with price I feel. It's a pricy place, suitable for once in a while visit.
Hidden gem ????. Amazing chili. Great salad. Staff was curtious and always available. 10/10.
I was very surprised at how gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan the menu was. Although there are not a ton of options, there were enough to be able to pick from. Staff was friendly enough. It was not outrageously expensive, but a little pricey. Food was delicious though :).
Jinky's is a combination of a breakfast, coffee shop that is open all day serving from the longest of menus, including lunch and dinner selections, and a full service bar with a counter and high top tables. It gives the impression of being a neighborhood place that is family run. Our family of six ate a late breakfast/brunch and had the best time. The mimosas, a classic bacon and eggs, a huge lox plate and a luscious French Toast were just a sample of selections from an enormous menu that would have something for the most selective of eaters, including vegetarian and vegan options. The ambiance and the service are both coffee shop friendly, although one can imagine long waits for tables at peak times given a limited number of tables and its apparent local popularity, The pricing is on the higher side but, given the quality and portion size of the servings, the value is pretty fair. Parking is easy in the large shared lot of a small shopping all.
