The Twist On Main

The name may have changed, but the drinks, food, service, and quality remain the same, as good as ever. As always, there's a nice selection of wine, beer, and signature cocktails. The permanent outdoor seating is set up nicely, and live music inside, along with a dance floor, make this a popular spot on weekends.

This time out, I paired a nice hazy IPA with the goat cheese, fig, and arugula flatbread, which was delicious. Swapped a piece or two for a friend's equally good mushroom and truffle flatbread, and another friend thoroughly enjoyed their tri-tip sandwich. Everyone left full and fully satisfied.

There are many good food options in Ventura, but if you're looking for good drinks, music, and a menu full of tasty bites and good service, make sure The Twist is on your list.
