“What a fantastic place for Italian food! Linda, the owner, spent time with us to explain the history behind the establishment and food. Such an inviting environment and the food was absolutely incredible! One of the best spots to eat in Ventura, hands down! The dessert was mouth watering! You never see establishments like this anymore where the owner interacts with the clients and makes you feel right at home. Make sure to go for the lasagna! To die for! Can’t wait to be back! Such a terrific addition to Main Street!”

“We visited main Street in Ventura for the first time since the pandemic began. It was great to see the street blocked off to traffic and used instead for extended outdoor seating for dining and distanced walking. We chose to have dinner at MidiCi Wood Fired Pizza after reviewing the menus of several other restaurants on main Street. We are vegetarian and this restaurant had the best menu selection and suitably distant seating outdoors. We ordered two grilled vegetarian pizzas, which are thin crust and wood-fired. We make pizza at home, including the crust, and this crust and pizza was much better than we can make at home. The wood-fired crust was beautifully charred underneath and not soggy. The grilled vegetable toppings, including mushrooms, red and yellow peppers and spinach, were flavorful, and the cheeses used on the pizza complimented it very well without overpowering it. My three-year-old son could not shovel it into his mouth fast enough. We also had 805 draft beer with our pizzas. Each pizza is considered larger than one person can eat, but likely not enough for two. My son ate two slices and my wife and I still brought home one large slice between the two pizzas that we ordered. The menu is varied and will suit many tastes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. I highly recommend you give MidiCi Wood Fired Pizza a try.”

“The gyros were delicious! They have a cute little patio set up right outside so you can "dine out" they still come and check on you if you need anything. The Greek fries were also very good. We loved the food here and the prices were reasonable. Sorry my camera was a little blurry!”

“Ah man, they almost got one star! I just wanted to pop by for a quick beer this afternoon, and after the mask, temp and seating it took a little while to get served. Once that happened, though, they were on point with happy hour, beer and happy service. Hit them up!”

“I cannot say enough good things about th tacos here!!! The ahi tacos are life-changing. We have been coming to this place for years and have never been disappointed. We have tried most of their taco options and you really can't go wrong. They also have this really delicious warm banana dessert concoction that is a must have!! We make trips to Ventura specifically to come here and I have recommended this place to all of my friends. Please come support them!! They are following social distancing protocol and you can see them cleaning very frequently.”

“Drive through was pretty long but that can't be helped for how popular their coffee is. They worked efficiently and effectively, so I didn't have to wait too long for my coffee even with a full line of cars. There is this amazing piece of art on the wall to look at while waiting so that is a plus. Not much more to say, it's good coffee.”

“The salad bar is always great at any toppers but I have to say the pizza was not what I expected or up to Toppers par. But I did enjoy the new Toppets with its kid friendly seating area and its modern decor its awesome. Plus enjoy a beer with the brewery located right door that's joined with toppers.”

“Many times my husband and I have dropped by Main Course California for a sandwich, salad or soup. (Sometimes all three). There are many options and at times we order again to take home for dinner. The food is beyond reproach and the service is not only excellent but they make us feel like family. We cannot wait until we can use Main Course for an event. Thanks!”

“It was my first time there. 5 stars if the pizza was cooked all the way through. The cheese wasn't melted all the way. Other than that I loved everything else, especially the roasted broccoli. Definitely will be back to try different combinations. I see a 5 star rating in the future!”
