From the moment you walk in, you can tell Crave Gelato Kofi Bar is different, is special. Very high quality buildout. You can tell the owner took the time to care about the product being delivered. The food and coffee is exceptional. When you take a minute to look into what is actually going into your food and where the coffee is sourced you can see why this place is special. Highly recommend checking it out and getting to know the owner if she’s there. Really interesting story about how this came to be and more importantly her dedication to her store. It’s inspiring.”

“The food was delicious (I got an acai bowl and my parents a bagel breakfast sandwich) coffee was hot and tasty, and my family and I appreciated the kind atmosphere. We took advantage of the large table on the North facing side (I think North), of the cafe and decorated my graduation cap. During this time we saw groups of motorcyclists pass by, and beautiful classic cars (it was a Saturday).”

“This is a restaurant inside of a hotel but the breakfast was plentiful and tasted great. My coworker and I got the same thing but ordered our eggs different and we decided to share a French Toast. The French Toast was one of the best I have had at a restaurant as it was soft and fluffy and the taste of cinnamon was not too overpowering. Our server was so nice and attentive and took the time for small talk although the restaurant was full.”

“Oh boy, this place is definitely making it harder for me to lose those extra pounds. Fantastic pasties and bread. Great coffee and friendly staff. Their meals are also hardy and full of flavor. My only issue with this place is all the broken plates and chipped mugs. Every time I go there (which is often) I always get something broken. For as much as you spend, this place should be mindful of what they are sending out. Especially since this place seems to pride itself on quality. There's nothing that ruins a presentation of beautiful food than a cracked or chipped dish. It's all part of the experience. Other than that, this place is consistent with their food. “This place is fairly new. Man! Its delicious. The ambiance is great not too noisy. Employees are very friendly and helpful. My husband got the House Special Spicy Pho, he said it was delicious not too spicy(medium level). I ordered the Wagyu Beef Pho and it did not disappoint, very delicious. The broth is so addicting, very good stuff. Oh we also ordered a strawberry lemonade and a mango lemonade very flavorful and refreshing. Overall this place is really good a must try. Will be back soon.”

“Nick is the park host and also the chef at the Hobson Beach Grill. He is super friendly and makes great food. He has Decades of cooking experience from owning restaurants in New York in California. We had several great conversations. Oh! The food was terrific. I had the steamed mussels with marinara sauce which was amazing. We also had a wonderful pizza and salad. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Last year when we stayed at Faria Beach people told us to check out the snack bar at Hobson Beach. Make sure you stop by.”

“Robby from CI Juice is such a great person to work with. I coordinated with him to get some of their juice at a work event and everyone loved it. One of the best parts is that they reuse their glass bottles to reduce waste. And - of course - I wouldn't be writing if their juice wasn't top notch! Very complex flavors that make you want to savor every sip. I highly recommend trying them out if you're into juice.”

“The name may have changed, but the drinks, food, service, and quality remain the same, as good as ever. As always, there's a nice selection of wine, beer, and signature cocktails. The permanent outdoor seating is set up nicely, and live music inside, along with a dance floor, make this a popular spot on weekends. This time out, I paired a nice hazy IPA with the goat cheese, fig, and arugula flatbread, which was delicious. Swapped a piece or two for a friend's equally good mushroom and truffle flatbread, and another friend thoroughly enjoyed their tri-tip sandwich. Everyone left full and fully satisfied. There are many good food options in Ventura, but if you're looking for good drinks, music, and a menu full of tasty bites and good service, make sure The Twist is on your list.”
