Woodstock's Pizza Davis

This is the one pizza place known far and wide, never a disappointment. I lived in Davis in the 1990's and it's still just as good as it was back then. If you're visiting Davis, stop in and get a pie, you will be glad you did. The staff is always Uber friendly, the dining areas clean, and the pizza is top shelf!

They have good vegan options for pizzas with an optional addition of vegan cheese. This is very nice because I am vegan and not all places have this. It also has a very nice and friendly atmosphere.

It's all about the in-house made dough and sauce. I've tried adding the David area other pizza joint's and this once stood out the most. They've perfected the recipe and cook style of their dough and i thoroughly enjoy the food and having a cold brew during my breaks. Great family vibe as well, thank you Woodstock's pizza!

The decor is kind of funky, but the pizza and service were fantastic! And to their credit, they have the best gluten free crust we have ever had. Even as someone who can have gluten, I would eat it happily. For my daughter, gluten is not an option, so we have tried pizza many places. The crust was still soft on the edges, and that is pretty much witchcraft in the world of gluten free foods.

Pizza is okay, but a bit too pricey. The dessert pizza is amazing though. The tater-tot pizzas need less meat/bacon. (The bacon overpowers all tater-tot flavor so you might as well just get a bacon pizza) Some of the beer taps are gross from time to time. But good deals on drinks from time to time. They have really fun trivia and bingo nights and great prizes.
