This place is a gem. Great burgers, best chicken wings I've ever had. Friendly atmosphere. I'll drive back to Davis from Vacaville to eat here again.

The burgers here are impossible to put down once you start. Seriously, they're so juicy they puddle onto your plate and you've no where to set your burger. Pro-tip: set your burger right on top of the enormous portion of seasoned fries so the juices from the burger soak into the fries and you don't look like a freak who licks his fingers in front of his date. Better yet: share a plate of their jalapeño fries (made with fresh pico de gallo) so you can hide behind the mountains of fries in safety to retain your dignity as you lick your fingers. Even better: don't bring a date & eat the jalapeño fries yourself- because who needs friends when you've got Tommy J. Seriously tho: I've gotten the same burger 20+ times (medium, jalapeño burger with avocado spread) and it is as consistent each time as the best of them. If you're not into burgers, they have a broad mix of American food favorites including cheesesteaks, sliders and brunch on weekends (which I haven't tried but it's impossible with the burger invading my every waking thought when I step foot into it's hallowed burger halls). The staff is helpful and are always down to play devil's advocate if you can't make up your mind (my personal philosophy is 'just say yes'). Ambiance is standard sports bar. Great location for people watching. Windows stretch all along the east side, and tall tables and chairs make you feel like the kings and queens you are. The only person you will disappoint if you choose another burger place is yourself.

Love this tiny place. It appears to be an old fashion bar/restaurant and perhaps it is. Nevertheless, the food is yummy! We've had their burgers and corn beef sandwiches. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. Fries are the best in Davis.
