Wok of Flame 顺利饭店

We went for the name, but we'd go back for the food! Food was very good. Service was very good as well. It was crowded but luckily we didn't have to wait.

I went to lunch with 2 coworkers. We all got lunch specials. Choices include one entree (great selection including various chicken, beef, veggies, shrimp dishes), hot and sour soup, and 2 sides (choice of pork fried rice, white rice, brown rice, veggie chow mein, or steamed veggies). Let me tell you: best Chinese food I've had in YEARS! The hot and sour soup was delicious! We respectively got lemon chicken, sesame chicken and garlic chicken. The garlic chicken was in sauce with veggies, and the other 2 were breaded and sauced. I got the lemon chicken and was able to get the sauce on the side, which few places do. We were all able to do 2 sides of pork fried rice, which was very flavorful. I normally pick out the peas and carrots from fried rice, but the rice being so flavorful meant I didn't need to. The service was friendly, quick and efficient. I will drive out of my way from Sacramento to come here again!

We've always had a good dining experience here. The food doesn't disappoint and the service was prompt. However when we ordered Chinese tea, it was with lukewarm water in our cups which wouldn't do much to enhance the teabag. Normally we would get piping hot water in a teapot with Chinese tea leaves or bags in it. The waiter knew the water was lukewarm but only brought a plastic pitcher of warm water when we asked for hot water.

Very nice dinner for two! Good traditional Chinese family restaurant with excellent food. Reasonable prices, great service and very well prepared food. Kind of noisy, but nothing that interferes with a "table" conversation. All in all a very nice place to enjoy a good meal with friends and family.

Excellent Chinese food! Not heavy or greasy. Great portion sizes. Friendly service. Will definitely go there again!
