Farmer's Kitchen Cafe at Natural Food Works

Excellent food! It does need a little bit on improvement on costumer service since I saw a couple people walk out after waiting a few minutes because there was nobody there to welcome and guide them in...

It was ok. Love that it was gluten free- (the whole place that is)veggie burger came on a fridge ( possibly formerly freezer) cold bun and had the consistency of black bean hummus, nothing like any veggie burger I have ever had. It was a pate. Chicken sand-which tasted funky. The pineapple drinks- $4.50 a pop-were also ok, they tasted of diluted pineapple and cinnamon- nothing to call home about. This place has the ability to be amazing. It’s just not there yet.

very organic very clean and well cooked food, it is a very important part of excellent food, gluten-free and always at the purest ingredients they have, tasty and enjoyable ... there's a subscription service for food and that is a wonderful way to take home the very best recently cooked food. Again the highest quality

I came last year on a work trip and had the most amazing veggie burger with a delicious gf bun. But this time around it was a different patty, basically cold black bean mush which was so unfortunate. The gf bun was delicious which is why it gets three stars and the cinnamon roll! Gf pastries are on point here, but the veggie burger was a huge disappointment. Wish they'd go back to the way they used to make it. That was a much better recipe all around with solid consistency and cooked... Not cold black bean mush. Yuck! Service was nice and attentive however. It's a quirky Cafe where you seat yourself. Nothing fancy and natural home feel.

We stopped by this cute little cafe and food delivery service on the drive from San Francisco to Tahoe and were very impressed. The food was extremely high quality and is all farm to table. We also picked up some gluten free bread and pie dough, which turned out to be amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be trying more menu items next time.
