“I first heard about this place from my daughter, a graduate student. Since my wife really enjoys Indian food, we made the drive from Sacramento to check it out. It was difficult to find, and during the winter of 2018-19, the City of Davis' contractor revamping had the street all torn-up & under construction. Looks like it's taking them forever to do it. NOW back to the food. It was great, and well-priced for what you get. IF we're ever driving down I-80 past Davis, I'd stop again to eat. It's a real "Mom & Pop" restaurant, and seems authentic & "Fresh." The service wasn't bad either, but I really go for the "Food."”

“Yummy breakfast at Putah creek cafe. A favorite of winters and almost always busy, want t wasn't too long though. Had delicious Eggs Benedict and splurged on a bloody Mary with bacon! Staff was friendly and they have seating inside and outside. Definitely recommend for breakfast stop if your near Winters.”
