“Stepping into Shabu Shack felt like walking into hotpot heaven! The place was buzzing, the broths were bubbling, and the aroma was mouthwatering. The options were endless – fresh meats, seafood, veggies – you name it, they had it! We dove right in, dunking our favorites into the spicy Sichuan broth. And the staff? Super friendly and helpful, making sure our meal was on point from start to finish. If you're up for a hotpot adventure, Shabu Shack is the spot to be. Trust me, you'll be planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal!”

“Was in town for a friends’ birthday and stumbled across this wonderful surprise, just a block from his house. It was 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. A food truck was out front and a birthday party was in full swing in the large patio area. Despite it being busy, I didn’t wait for more than two minutes to order. There were a LOT of options, and time was not on my side, so I chose a flight of their IPA offerings and a key lime pie sour. I was not disappointed with a single beer. They were exactly the lubrication I needed for the upcoming introductions and interactions, helping to shake off whatever anxiety might be gnawing away at me. The establishment was clean. Prices were the median prices one would come to expect at a brewery. There were to go options and merchandise if one were so inclined to take something home. The beertenders were courteous, responsive, and quick. Vibe is always a concern at breweries, and I dug theirs. It had all the tropes of your average industrial brewery - ropes lighting, local artwork, metal and wood - not to mention the mellow, beer loving locals. Can’t wait to return with more time and a designated driver.”

“Another hidden gem! I wandered in this spot on Main St. I was so impressed by the service AND the cheeseburgers! It's probably 1 of the best burgers I have had in a while. The fries were enough for 3 people. They were hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. It's an all-around great experience.”

“I place an order ticket number 162 and my order was not what I ordered and called and spoke to Hannah and she said they will remake it for free and the second time around they forgot to make my pizzas extra big crust and one of them had a spicy sauce to it that i didn't ordered and one of my guest unfortunately had a meltdown. This was my first and last ordered from here. I was looking for a great place to eat pizza. This is an outstanding ownership and excellent follow up on Alex I'm impress how quickly they responded, they took care of me for next time thank you for understanding.”

“The fresh tortillas are already a plus but the suadero tacos are probably the best. Second up are the Al pastor which they are also really good and they happen to use a Trompo which is quite uncommon but another but plus. It’s cash only but it’s probably the best tacos in Solano/yolo county. Friday hours are 8-sell out and Saturday/Sunday are 6/630-until sell out. They are only available 3 days.”

“During our visit to Sacramento from Atlanta, we stumbled upon Carnitas el Rincon, and we were blown away by the incredible food! The tacos and super burrito were the best we've ever had. The tender and flavorful pork, paired with fresh toppings and yummy tortillas, created a mouthwatering combination. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making our experience even better. If you're in Sacramento, don't miss out on Carnitas el Rincon's amazing pork tacos!”

“Stopped by Canyon Cafe after realizing that .ost of the other restaurants had closed or were getting ready to close. Waiting about 30 minutes for a table. Once the table was ready I was prompted seated. When the waitress arrived, I placed an order for the Ribeye steak dinner with a side of country potatoes, mashed potatoes, and ordered a drink from the bar through her. I was hoping that the drink would arrive first before the food, but it didn't work out that way. The steak was alright, but was slightly underseasoned. Luckily they dropped off some A1 sauce and salt was readily available at the table. For dessert I tried their Chocolate Lava Cake with Ice Cream. Sadly by the time that it made it to my table, the cake was hardly lukewarm and no where near what I was expecting since the cake was described to have a "molten" center. Overall Canyon Cafe is okay if you're looking for simple comfort foods or when most of the other restaurants in the casino are closed.”

“Beautiful coffee shop & wine bar in the bridge district neighborhood of West Sac. Indoor and outdoor seating are available, but can get busy. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Chef Winks' menu of small plates of French dishes include wonderfully balanced & rich savory quiches, fresh salads dishes, fromage, jamon sandwiches. Make sure to save room for delectable desserts and pastries - especially the walnut croissant!”
