DO IT! man cornmeal polenta or tomato polenta in ALAMOSA! For REAL folks you have to go to Naples Italy to get the same level of gourmet Italian cooking! She and her crew are FANTASTICAL on every level #1 fine dining in the whole state of Colorado! yuppers she knocks it out of the park with EVERY dish!

We recently enjoyed dinner at this restaurant and overall it was a pleasant experience. It is good that Alamosa has finally gotten a "fine dining" restaurant again; however, there were some things lacking in the professionalism which I am sure that the owners will be working to correct. After all, dining is not just about the food but also the total experience.
We ordered a bottle of wine but when it was delivered to the table it came, cork sticking out, and just plopped down on the table. It was not poured for us, as it should have been. The other jarring thing that happened was that at the end of the meal, the server came to the table and announced for all to hear the cost of the bill. At the very least the total could have been written discreetly on a piece of paper and placed on the table for the host to retrieve.
The food was very good, but not outstanding. The cocktails were excellent. The wine list is very small (we thought there would be more choices based on the size of their wine rack), and the wine we chose was not available. Considering the few choices, this was surprising. One would expect that every wine, on such a short list, would be
    available.
The waitstaff was pleasant but seemed a little harried. Perhaps they were new .
Again, it was a pleasant evening, and we feel that with time and some adjustments in the overall professionalism it will become the gem Alamosa has needed for quite some time.

We enjoyed a pleasant dinner recently at this restaurant. It is good that Alamosa has finally gotten a "fine dining" restaurant again. We were pleased, overall, with our experience; however, there were a couple of things that were not quite professional and somewhat distracted from the effect that the owners seem to hope to achieve. For instance, we ordered a bottle of wine which was brought to the table, cork sticking out, and plopped down on the table. It was not poured for us, as it should have been. A particularly jarring note, at the end of the meal our served stood at the head of the table and announced the cost aloud. Perhaps a discreet piece of paper showing the total could have been placed on the table for the host paying for the meal.
The meal was very good, but not outstanding. The cocktails were excellent. There are not many wines on the wine list (we expected more choices, given the size of the wine racks) and the bottle we selected was not available. This was surprising, since there were so few choices anyway.
The waitstaff was pleasant, although seemed to be a bit harried. Perhaps they were new and just learning how to be an accomplished server.
As I said, we enjoyed having a nice restaurant available in which to enjoy a meal, and except for the lack of professionalism in a few areas which the owners will no doubt correct, it was very pleasant.

This place is amazing! Very tasty cocktails at a reasonable price for high end spirits. Staff is friendly and take great care of you. The owner is an Alamosa Native bringing her culinary and cocktail expertise from far away travels back to the valley for fun and elevated yet humble experience!

Heaven in Alamosa. You MUST try the charcuterie board. The drinks and food were created and served with pride and professionalism. My husband and I could not have had a better evening anywhere! Denise and Nelson are delightful hosts.

Forgive the pun, but a true "blessing" to the Alamosa area. Great drinks, wonderful atmosphere, and amazing staff. Owners are curious and warm treating more like an old friend rather than patron. The drinks are outstanding. The sea breeze, blueberry whiskeysour, and smoked margarita are all a must try. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.

Perfect ambiance for a chill Friday evening. The servers were super helpful and very knowledgeable. Definitely try the mezcal, be adventurous and open to their variety of cocktails. Excited to see this spot grow! Can’t wait to return for morning coffees soon.
