Applebee's Grill + Bar

Things have sure changed since I last reviewed this place. They have been out of the wine my wife drinks for over 3 visits. Twice they didn't have baked potatoes after 5. Last night they ran out of lettuce. You look out the windows and they are all smeared. The main TV has not been working for over 2 weeks. We won't be back for quite awhile. Maybe things will get better.

My wife, adult son, fiance and I decided to go to this restaurant for a little family celebration upon them getting engaged and his fiance finding a wedding dress for their upcoming summer wedding. The location is fairly convenient in Highlands Ranch on University Blvd., there's adequate parking, the restaurant looks nice on the outside, we were greeted upon entering by the friendly employee, we waited less than 10 minutes for our table (@7:15 pm Saturday), the dining room was average noisy, clean & tidy, no music was playing, they had WiFi that worked, our server was really nice, friendly, efficient, and patient, our food was served in about 15 minutes, my mashed potatoes were cold and my food tasted really good but my "medium" cooked sirloin steak was made medium rare but I ate it anyway, the prices were too pricey in my opinion, and the men's bathroom was clean.

Good food, low prices, good service. Had a bar, didn't smell or sound like one. What more can I say?

Forgotten how good this place is. Had the yummy 2 for 27. Chicken was very tender and moist and my wife's 8oz. sirloin was delicious. Service was very good. Thanks Applebee's!
