Absolutely Fantastic. A little bit on the pricey side for food, but otherwise, there's no beating it. Sitting in the train is definitely worth the extra $7. Service is great as well.

Such a fun place! Everyone who works there is so kind. I love that they are able to teach you the games if you've never played them before. It's beneficial having someone there to walk you through it step by step. The food is also really great! The train room is awesome and a cool feature, too. We loved playing the Escape Room card games.

We have gone to this place a few times and have had a blast. It is called The Game Train. The place has almost 500 board games. You pay a small fee per person to play their board games. You can check out as many as you want during your visit. they have a game master that will recommend games for you or they have a giant notebook that you can look through all their games. And notebook has descriptions, age levels, difficulty levels, etc. This place has games for every age level. My husband and I went on a date one time and stayed for several hours playing. And this last weekend we went with our 7 and 11 year old granddaughters and our daughter. We stayed about four hours playing games. The kids loved it and can't wait to go back. The place does have a food menu and a full bar. Two of the rooms are set up like you are on a train. It has windows with video so it looks like you're seeing scenery going by. Pretty cool. The train rooms do cost a little bit more, but a cool experience. Hence the name "game train" They also have a few very intimate private rooms. So lots of options. They also have available games for purchase.
So highly recommend for the family, a date, girls night, etc. My daughter is already planning a girls night out there with her friends. This place is something different to do!

This is the second time I've been to this place and both times have been amazing. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. I'm also also impressed with their knowledge of the games and their ability to teach them. Their prices are in line with other places I've been to, so expect the $5 fee to play, and slightly higher food and drink prices. I'm happy to pay to support a business that is adding to the community. Check out the train rooms for sure, worth the extra money at least once.

I'm giving this restaurant a 3 star rating because we didn't really experience the game side of the place. The menu was updated and the items we were expecting to see were no longer available (need to update website). The mac & cheese was not available as the special cheese sauce was not ready and would take an hour to completely be done. We were forced into sandwiches and salads. It took a long time to get the food out of the kitchen (about 40 minutes). It took so long that the owner offered us a free dice game while we were waiting. The sandwiches were not hot but I sense that the gaming side of the house is the main focus of the place ..... not the food. The simulated train car experience was unusual but should be included at no extra charge. The upcharge gets you a table in a long room decorated like a train car with hi-def monitors in the windows showing the passing countryside. There are actuators in the floor to make you feel the rails and vibrations. The theme of the restaurant should not be at an additional fee. Access to the games (and game master) was an additional $5 per person so it would have been an additional $20 to play one of their over 450 board games during dinner. Finally, the location is fairly well hidden. The restaurant access faces an alleyway between 2 buildings so we missed it the first time. There needs to be additional signage in the parking lot. The owner and staff were all very friendly. Overall it was a unique experience but if you are not a gamer or really into trains this is probably not for you.
