Mountain Pizza and Taproom

Food was pretty good. Self-service beer was cool concept. Would like to come back when more selections are working. All of the food runners were awesome. Unfortunately, the manager or lead in the kitchen was extremely rude, as was the person running the cash register. We waited for our food as large tables who came in after received theirs. When we asked about it the manager ignored us, finally snapping that it wasn't cooked properly. Half our order finally arrived but we had to request the other half to be prepared.

Order on self-serve screens (unless getting beer) and can make most things to order! The garlic knots were tasty but not super fluffy. The pizzas we each order were fantastic, however.

As for beer: you open a tab and get 32oz self-serve at their taps. Was a a really cool system!

They had live music while we were there too, line dancing and good jams all around!

I would love to go back to try more of this place since last visit I just got take out pizza. They have a huge wall with about 11 options of beers on tap for you to try and more 4 options of wines. You can pick your own glass and try out whatever you would like from their own beers and many more. Their pizza is also great it has a unique flavor of some garlic olive oil that they might use.
Can not forget to tell you about the environment, they got outside and inside seating areas with nice chairs and even a fire pit to hang around and enjoy your beer.

Was in Pagosa during Spring Break, just prior to the world shutting down. Stopped by Mountain Pizza and Taproom at the suggestion of a friend. Was not expecting anything more than an average pizza and beer, but was I ever wrong. This place has the BEST pizza I have ever tasted and the local beer was the cherry on top. Me and my kids sat outside and enjoyed the beauty that Pagosa has to offer. When our pizza came it was to die for. If I didn't live 20 hours away I would have taken some pies for the road. I've desperately searched for a local place (in Texas) that comes close to Mountain Pizza but nothing compares. I'm hoping to make it back in December (pending the epidemic) and this will be my 1st stop. If your in Pagosa and your looking for a great pizza, a cold beer, and awesome service, GO to this place.
