    Fantastic. Absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and complimentary. I really enjoyed my sea scallop roll, which was incredibly fresh & flavorful. The fried GF chicken was also a crispy treat. The whole meal was fabulous. Highly recommend!!

    Super delicious, authentic Japanese food. High quality, although not pretentious at all. Simple digs and friendly servers.

    All I can say is WOW! This place now officially has a place in my heart. Excellent cuisine, outstanding service. You can tell how skilled the sushi chefs are, as well as how passionate they are of their work. AOI is hands down the best sushi and Japanese cuisine restaurant in Boulder. I think what separates them most from the place of Spruce street is the service.

    Closest thing to a Japanese Izakaya you will find in Boulder area. Great food. The Izakaya/Small plate thing is great, allows you to tray a lot. Great sushi specials. Fun, upbeat place.

    My husband and I went this past Saturday night and had an amazing experience. Incredible food, atmosphere, drinks and service. So happy to have it in town and know it will be our go-to for Japanese food. Can't wait to go back.
