The Boulder Cork

This jewel of a place is off Boulder’s restaurant row but well worth the slight detour. They’ve been around for 50 years and I can see why. The food is excellent and service very warm and engaging. The atmosphere is perfect as well - no loud music drowning out conversation but lively enough to make it special. Both the steak and seafood are first rate. We loved the almond encrusted Brie starter.

Fantastic spot to eat some food when in a rush. Their customer service is quick, prices are convenient, great mood. I highly recommend this place

Went recently to celebrate a milestone birthday. I must say it didn’t live up to its reputation or my experience of it 10 years ago. Most of our meals were good-not great. I was happiest with my choice of the grilled fish bowl-well prepared if a bit on the spicy side for me. The lobster ravioli was a huge disappointment, mostly because it was the size of an appetizer at best...don’t order that one if you’re at all hungry.
Desserts were again-good, not great and our service was not stellar. Server was friendly but seldom seen, forgot drinks ordered mid meal until dessert (comped but still)
It wasn’t a horrible experience but based on that evening we probably won’t return. For the money there are better options available.

So good! The prime rib sandwich is a good size for 2. We also had shrimp wrapped in prosciutto and stuffed with cheese. Wonderful! The crab cakes were quite good as well. Not crispy enough but very tasty

Our server was top tier, he was courteous and articulate. Our family had a Christmas dinner of sorts and I was floored by the entire menu. When my steak wasn't cooked right, the waiter saw it before I said anything and fixed it immediately. I am speechless to the level of quality this place provided. Well earned 5 stars
