Blackbelly

The 3 of us had amazing food here again. I had the small plate cabbage which was a special and like nothing I have ever had and was very very delicious. We shared all our plates and it was the best of all the really amazing food. My spouse ordered the muscles which were super large and cooked perfectly in a wonderful spicy sauce with great toast on the side. We had a fresh ricotta to start with the drinks and as usual this was also amazing. Surprisingly we ordered the chicken which came with mushroom bread pudding which itself was delicious but the chicken was perfect with a slight terragon sauce and juicy and super flavorful. This is one of my favorite restaurants in boulder, great food and amazing service! You should go!

Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Blackbelly offers a menu that is defined by vibrant flavors created with the highest quality ingredients. Their dinner selection is often as inventive as it is delicious, with new specials cycling in and out with regularity. My last visit was for lunch one week ago, where I was treated to the best Cubano I have ever eaten (and one I hope to enjoy again). Lunch service can be a tad noisy, but customers flock to this place with good reason.

Outrageous! One of the most impressive, delicious and elegantly presented restaurants I've ever been in, from memorable flavors and preparation to the orchestration of front of the house employees all working calmly as one graceful efficiency. I was in the restaurant business for 40 years in several major cities in the country and I have rarely experienced a perfect symphony of a restaurant such as this one. Or as outrageously delicious. The words 'casual elegance' come into my mind to describe Blackbelly.

Excellent. Wonderful off-menu skirt steak. Danielle could not have been better. Just the right amount of care and stopping by. Knew the menu inside and out. Made great recommendations. Flawless dinner.
