Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar - Boulder

We went for dinner and decided to share so we could try more of what we saw on the menu, we shared the Baked Baja Clams which is not like your everyday baked clams, these came in a wonderful broth, good for dipping the great rolls and bread.Then we each had a cup of soup, Seafood chowder and Avocado Gazpacho and both were tasty and delicious, then the Jambalaya also very good and finally the Bourbon Chocolate Bread Pudding great way to finish a terrific meal.

Great food and excellent service! The waiters were a lot of fun and humored my siblings and I. My family had a really good time. Highly recommend!

Terrific seafood. We were so excited to try it and to feel confident that no matter what we ordered we were being responsible about conservation. Jax seafood only serves seafood that is on the Monterrey Bay safe/eco-conscious list. Plus the service was wonderful. And I loved that there was a dairy free dessert option for me. A rare find!

AMAZING. PERFECT. FANTASTIC. 10/10. DELICIOUS. Not sure how else to describe this establishment. This location in boulder was amazing. My favorite spot on my 4 day trip through Colorado. We had the calamari, the shrimp, the Salmon and the lobster roll. The entire meal start to finish was excellent. The staff treated us splendidly, and cared for us the entire meal.

Jax...always delightful! One of the few restaurants where staff works together to serve you, awesome! Kim is a great bartender and makes super recommendations! Out of the 3 locations this Boulder Jax is my favorite! Older building with exposed brick and smaller venue, cool small bar and always hopping. Love the oysters!
