Wow, do I love this place. Everything about it!! It's a tight space, but something is so comfortable about it. Best hash browns on the planet, for sure. I went two days in a row while visiting Boulder for three days. I will go again the next time I am there. Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs for $8.75. Best deal going. If you're a "first timer" there, they proudly announce you as a "Village Virgin" and the whole place celebrates for you! It is awesome. Best Breakfast in Boulder........foughettaboutit!

Mom and pop shop. The most fantastic french toast I've ever had. The owner is super kind. Excellent experience.

Very good coffee and service. The cafe's old reputation for cranky staff is definitely not true these days. My #5 was great - eggs over medium cooked just right, with awesome hash browns. My husband's Omelet was good although he prefers his onions and peppers cooked more than these were. Very good pancake - it doesn't match the perfect tenderness of Egg & I but it's in the top 5.

Always busy but worth the wait in line. Food is out pretty quick, even when the flattop grill is full. Always good quality and friendly service. The staff here looks like they're always having fun.

Atmosphere is exactly what you love about a local diner. The lady in the front is super friendly and is such a sweetheart.

Plain black coffee is really all you need to drink but they do have other drinks as well.

The wait staff was very attentive making sure our coffee was full. The food was excellent if you are looking for traditional diner food. Superb in my opinion.
