Santiago's Mexican Restaurant

This is a true front range institution. The breakfast burritos are filling and inexpensive. This is what everyone brings when you need to bring breakfast for the office or a morning meeting.

The menu looks pretty normal when you go in but you only really order two things: vegetarian or chorizo breakfast burritos (and hot, mild or half-n-half).

The Santiago's on N. Public Rd is one of the BEST! I come here pretty much every day. The people that work here are some of the best, friendliest, just nicest people. I come here for the food but the staff as well.

Great food at a fantastic price. Got a small combo, plus chips and salsa. Though the chips and salsa weren't free, they weren't expensive either and there was plenty of them. The small combo was more food than I could handle in one sitting! The chile tasted great, though I admit I was hoping the hot would be spicier.

This is my favorite burrito since 1999.
The green chili is legit magic.

Upon taking the first bite, the mouth literally waters up demanding more. The green chili’s gift the tongue with these little tingles of spice. To where it hurts ever so slightly in the best possible way. It is the utmost satisfaction, there is just barely an eye water that quickly reverts, sending a signal to your brain that it’s time to feast.

Deluxe = diced tomato, shredded iceberg lettuce, sour cream.
1/2 & 1/2 = green chili (half hot)+(half mild)

Sometimes they don’t add sour cream, so check your order. But honestly, I don’t even care. It’s that good.
