    Definitely a trip back in time. This is the place for comfort food and dishes you don't tend to find on menus any more. Roast turkey with all the trimmings? Check. Liver and onions? Check. Food was good. Portions are generous. But save room for the myriad pies whose crusts are so rich and flaky that's it's probably better not to ask how they are made. The dining room itself needed attention after a day of debris falling to the floor. Staff are friendly.

    Such a nice experience here for breakfast. Service was quick, in spite of a full house. Food was very good and we even got to meet Jan! Will definitely eat here again and highly recommend this place to anyone!!

    I’ve been going to Jan’s since I was a baby. They give huge portions at a great value and have such a friendly, homey environment. There is nowhere else I’d rather go to have an amazing home cooked meal.
