“My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at The Alpine and it was absolutely perfect! Kendra and the team at the Alpine are so easy to work with and made all of our wishes come true, from the cigar bar, the sparkler send off, and the assorted desert table, they made our night better than we could have hoped! Dan and his team in the kitchen knocked it out of the park with our food and we received compliment after compliment. The Alpine will be a place we come back and visit frequently.”

“The CLASSIC local breakfast joint. Usually packed when open. The big breakfast burrito is absolutely delicious. I recommend doing 1/2 creamy gravy + 1/2 green chili. . . best of both worlds and the only thing that will fill me up! My only complaint is the coffee. It’s watery and severely lacking. I don’t get why breakfast places (which greatly rely on coffee) don’t choose to upgrade in that regard. There are many good coffee roasters in this area of the state!”

“Great food! We got a pizza and salad to share after a hike and it was lovely. The pizza had the perfect topping-to-sauce ratio, and lots of toppings possible without compromising the ability to pickup the slice. Open restaurant space with a lot of seating, seems like a great option for family dinners or date night. Decent beer options, would recommend a bottle or can over draft. Will definitely come back next time we're in town!”

“4Kings has become the local hangout and it's not hard to see why; the atmosphere is welcoming, laid back, and indicative of a small mountain town. The staff is always friendly and truly tries to know their customers on a personal level! Food is great and they have Taco Tuesday, their tacos are better than the local Mexican restaurant! “We stopped in last night and every positive comment here is true !! Kyle is super cool. The bartender ( sorry. Didn’t get his name. He was very busy) was super cool. Our pepperoni and mushroom pizza was perfectly prepared, cooked and delicious !! First time we’ve been in and we have decided to become regulars. The selection is awesome and Kyle will tell you what is spicy and what isn’t. Sports bar atmosphere and you can play pool or foosball while you wait. 👍👍”

“My family were staying last week for vacation in the area and we were so hungry after a long trip. We were so happy to come across this restaurant m! The food was very good but Daniel was the best part of this restaurant for sure!! He rocks! He was running the tables, he was the hostess the bar tender, he can do it all! The most impressive part is that the entire time we were there he was happy, attentive and communicative with every single person that was dining! I never seen someone like Daniel in my life! “Bootleggers is one of the only places in town that has food you can describe as “fresh and light”. Their sandwiches are pretty creative and a standout amongst the local eateries. However, my main complaint is probably portion size. I’m not usually one to criticize portions, but with the sandwiches being on the lighter light, the sides could be more generous or the sandwiches a bit bigger. Good beer/cocktail selection from what I can tell. Looks like the patio is a great time during the warmer months!”

“Lollipop Co was recently purchased by a local, well established, Westcliffe business owner. The community could not be more excited for this! They have taken our local snack options to a whole new level! We frequent Lollipop Co a least 2 times a week. In reference to another review, prices were not increased by 50% but by .50. Not a big deal in this economy and for excellent service/products! You won't be disappointed with the popcorn options and selection of adorable vintage candy. Enjoy!”

“Great to have this place in town! There are very few places that feel upscale enough for a proper date night in town (the kind you’d dress up for). The Silver West Feedstore is one of them. Cocktails are creative and delicious. Steaks have been hit or miss. Menu is frequently added to. Staff has been friendly and attentive. I will say, the prices are higher than some, but I’m more than willing to attribute some of that to today’s inflation and shipping costs. Give them some grace here! A fall evening on their patio makes for a dreamy date night.”
