This is a good quality steak house and flavor wise it rivals the best steak houses in town. I recommend starting with bone marrow or their muscles followed by a bone in Delmonico or their double bone prime rib. Top it off with death by chocolate!
Their service is average compared to other steak houses in the same price range. Don't come here during 5280 week; even though it wasn't packed the service was super slow and most of our dishes were not don't to the level it normally is.

Excellent food! I had never heard of 801 Chophouse before. Initially I thought it was part of the other Chophouse restaurant group but was surprised to hear differently. How have we missed this place? One of Cherry Creek's best kept secrets!! The service was outstanding and everything we had was exceptional. Filet mignon was flavorful and the chop salad was great. Creme brulee was divine and the cocktail list was unique. Cant wait to come back!!

Wonderful. My wife and I came here and we're a little nervous given the price tag. Spent about $300 for dinner for two ???? but for a special occasion we couldn't have asked for better.

Let's just start by saying everything is pricey and get that out of the way.

The steak was superb. It's really nice that they can bring the cuts to the table for you to choose from. Perfectly cooked.

The sides are shareable. In fact so are the steaks but the sides are meant to be shared.

The garlic mashed potatoes were incredible! Seriously, order these. The broccolini was also good. There really wasn't anything that wasn't good.

The wine selection is on point but just know that the cheapest bottle is $50 and goes way up from there.

Go here, you won't be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite steak house. Every time we have gotten me very much enjoyed it. It’s good for happy hour, and amazing steaks for dinner. Brooks Always takes care of us.

I WOULD go back and I WOULD recommend.

The scallop app was delicious. They were slightly overcooked. The duck confit hash browns were a work of art. Beautiful, tasty, and satisfying. The onion rings were good, but not remarkable. The lamb chops (ordered medium) were red cold and bloody in the center and had a bitter burnt crust outside. The Delmonico was ordered medium as well and while more appropriately cooked on the inside, it was also heavily charred and bitter on the outside. The protein were blackened on one side and that side was placed on the plate so that you didn’t see it until you tasted it. I didn’t bother sending it back. We just ate about half by scraping off the burnt parts, then boxed it up, skipped dessert, paid and bounced. The KC location is superior to the Denver location in almost every way.
