Just brilliant. Stopped in for a vegetarian platter the other day and absolutely loved the presentation and quality of the food. I've been eating Ethiopian food for a long while now, and I confidently feel that this restaurant is one of the top Ethiopian spots in Denver. The folks that work here are so passionate about their food and with providing you with a great experience. Do yourself a favor and order the coffee ceremony to close out your meal. I'd come back here again and again.

How anyone can ever give this spot a 1 star rating is beyond me. This is an authentic cuisine and is family-run. Please try having some patience and understanding. The folks that run this place are passionate of providing an enjoyable and authentic experience for all guests.

This has consistently been an amazing place to eat at. All of the food has such good flavor and is very filling for a relatively low price. The only downside is that wait times can often be long to get food, with it sometimes taking over half an hour. Aside from that, it is an amazing restaurant and one of the best Ethiopian restaurants in Colorado.

Popped in here when other dinner plans did not work out. So glad we gave this place a try. Had several dishes that we split between our party of three which turned out to be way more food than we could eat. Sampled Ethiopian wine and beers. The wine in particular was great! Friendly service in a very laid back atmosphere.

There's no shortage of Ethiopian restaurants on Colfax so I was glad to find out that Abyssinia had an authenticity of its own. From the lip-smacking honey wine to the garlic and herbs fish dish, there was just the right amount of spices. The portion were generous enough for a to-do box and for those hesitant to pick new items, you can't go wrong with grilled beef cubes. Menu advice and service in general were spot on!
