Lancer's Diner

You'd be forgiven for not noticing this hole-in-the-wall, but you'd be foolish to pass it up!

Everything you could want from a diner: I overheard the waitress rattling off a diner's order from his last visit. The service was quick and so was the food. Great green chile and fresh fries was exactly what I needed today.

The owner, Kathy, is a sweet woman who is clearly dedicated to being part of the community. I'm a terrible eavesdropper, and a guy came in off the street hungry without money. With no fuss, she made him up something right away and made him feel welcome and cared for. I tried to give her some cash "to cover the next guy" and she wouldn't hear of it.

I paid my first visit to Lancer's Diner earlier this week. Delicious food and lots of it. Plus a friendly staff and prices that are really affordable. I would pay twice as much for the meals that are served! Keep up the good work. It won't be my last visit.

Very generous portions and a very friendly staff. (A tip of the hat), to our server Chris. She really made the meal enjoyable .

Did I mention 'generous portions ' ? There is enough food for two nights !

I highly recommend you give Lance's Diner a try if you find yourself in the neighborhood of S. Federal at Evan's Blvd.

Stopped by today for a late breakfast and had the egg burger. It was delicious!! The food is great and the portions are big. Not expensive at all. Staff was also very friendly.
