My go to Thai restaurant in DTC. No, it's not the best you'll ever have, but it's very solid, spice levels are great, and it's consistent. Tom Kha and the drunken noodles are best on the menu.
I always get my food to go, so I can't really comment on service. However, I go there every time for the same thing because it's the best version of that food I've found anywhere. My go-to is pineapple fried rice and crab cheese wontons. Both are fantastic and I can't imagine finding another place that makes either one as well as Mali.
Had the massaman curry with tofu for lunch, with brown rice. Rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Curry, potatoes and tufo was also nicely done though could have used a little more in the dish. However being lunch, I tend not to want to over eat, so they saved me from myself and in the end felt full but not stuffed. Prior to food service a little cup of some sort of soup was served, it was a nice surprise. Dined with three others, they had no complaints. Service was fast and friendly.
