Mezcal

My parents were in town for Christmas and I wasn't sure where to go on Christmas Eve with so many places closing early. Luckily Mezcal was open and I know they had good food from past visits. My parents shared a combo plate with a "Taco Tuesday" chicken taco, I had a combo plate with a carnitas taco, then we all 3 shared the 3 desserts. Our server (Andrea) was AWESOME, food was excellent, atmosphere is amazing. My parents compliment was that they love taking me out to eat, because I always know the best restaurants. Wow this place has really changed for the better. Last time I came in here it was really dirty and the food/service was just blah. I just came in for drinks and decided to order since we were waiting for a friend and I'm glad I did! They must have made some changes in the management because the restaurant is clean, the food was incredible, and the service was perfect! The manager Will was articulate and very attentive to our needs. Thank you Mezcal for the solid dining experience. We will be back

The salsas are out of this world. I grew up in New Mexico and am fussy about southwestern food. The Chile rellenos here are top notch, some of the best I've had. Attentive and engaging service as well.

Um, YES! This place has it all. On Tuesdays, stop by for $1.50 street tacos of your choice accompanied by chips and salsa. My friends and I regularly head to Mezcal for a late dinner and a few drinks. Their tacos are tasty and the staff is friendly and fast. This is the perfect stop before or after a concert at the Bluebird Theatre.
