This Popeye's has the best chicken. It's like they cuddled every chicken tender. Wrapped every single one of them in a blanket of love and buttermilk. Watched over them with a dedicated stare, to ensure proper crust on every inch.

You could only barely tell that the front counter girl was so high she could barely stand up straight. Lol.

Thanks for great chicken and a great time. I will make sure I come back to this store in particular.

I don't think I've ever had Popeye's until the chicken sandwich madness began. Two of us ordered and ate inside the restaurant and it was a great experience. The chicken sandwiches are with the hype and I won't say what's already been said. But the biscuit, mashed potatoes, and lemonade we also had was just as good.

I finally got my hands on the ever elusive Popeye's chicken sandwich. I showed up 10:00 a.m. Saturday right when they opened. I was the only one there. The manager waited on me. He was a super nice and jovial man. I saw the employees working super hard getting the chicken sandwiches ready for the upcoming lunch crowd. I got my order to go. I was very happy with my visit. I got in and out of there super fast. If you want to get in on the chicken sandwich, go at 10:00 a.m. when they open like I did. In addition to the chicken sandwich (which I loved), I also got the dirty rice and a slice of the chocolate bourbon pie (to die for yum). My meal was great, the sandwich lived up to all the hype, the manager was very friendly and my food was all nice and hot when I got home, so no pesky reheating necessary.
