Tavern Platt Park

Delicious food: my pear, pecan, & Gorgonzola salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. Excellent draft beer selection and extremely enjoyable open air sidewalk seating options and a rooftop deck as well. Pleased with the overall experience.

I really enjoy coming here every week. I wasn't aware of the Tavern restaurants until I started hosting trivia nights. My wife and I have tried several items on the menu. I keep coming back to the calzone. My uncle is Sicilian by way of New York City, so a good calzone reminds me of family.

I’ve been going to the Tavern Platt Park for the better part of a year for Tuesday night trivia. The Tavern trivia is really fun, especially playing in their 10 week league trivia series. We especially love going each week and getting to know Sam (male)- the best server! He always takes great care of us and keeps us coming back each week. The volcano burger is the best thing on the menu. I wish ordering a pitcher of beer was available at the Tavern, but otherwise it’s been great.

This is the new location for the tavern and I really enjoyed it. The inside was very nice and it felt like a modern sports bar with some artistic touches. The food was bar food but it was quite good. The service was OK but it seemed to take forever to get the good ordered and the place wasn't exactly full. I am looking forward to watching college football here.
