I’ve been listening to their Totally Deep podcast for several years, but today was my first time in their shop. I was blown away by how knowledgeable they are. I purchased a set of bindings, which they price matched for me, and had them mounted. First off, they did it while I waited, which was very cool. Second, Doug knew that the mount line on the top sheet on my new skis was 1cm off which he adjusted for. He also knew to mount the heel piece 1mm back so that my boot wouldn’t get hung up while touring in flat mode. I’ve been to many shops and none of them had near the knowledge of AT/backcountry/rando gear. I fully recommend these guys...they are even worth the drive from the front range.

I went in knowing roughly what boot I wanted and the guys there were very helpful in specifying the model with the flex that I was looking for. They had the right size in Crispi NTN boot that I could not find anywhere else which was very helpful and reassuring

Great service, they went above and beyond what I expected for a shop. I'd happily buy from them again. Friendly staff, great products...A+

I also like how they still carry the newest Telemark stuff. I got the Meidjo 2.1 and they were one of the only stores in CO that could mount it for me. They have Telemark boots too.

Based on our experience with Saleman Tom!

Tom engaged w/ my 13-yr old, was able to explain the fit he most likely needed and found a great pair of boots for the type of bc riding he does - more slack country. Tom showed interest in what my son was doing and got him past the hype and to a product that should serve him well. Get Tom a raise!!!

Thanks, for being in the Valley Cripple Creek and hire more guys like Tom that see the future of the sport.

    Thanks,

    M.B.

Great backcountry skiing/boarding store in the great town of Carbondale. Where else can I sell a vintage pair of Scarpa telemark boots at a BC-only ski swap, and buy a local beer at the counter? Give CCBC a shot in Carbondale, Aspen or Vail.
