Nice warm drink on a cold day. Good lunch menu, tasty. Friendly service - even when busy.

Always crowded for apres. Fun atmosphere and good food menu (lunch until 3pm and bar snacks from 2pm). The service can be a bit hit or miss when they’re crowded but generally pretty good.

Great location but food and service not what you would expect from this well-known Vail establishment. We were not warmly greeted and service was slow. And for a German-themed restaurant not to serve beers in the proper glassware further diminishes the authenticity.

This place is special to us. It's where we had our first date over 14 years ago. We've been married now for 12 years and we try to go back every now and then to reminisce about that memorable day. Pepi's specializes in traditional European dishes, which is a perfect compliment to their location. Vail has a kind of European "feel" and eating here you might forget that you are still in the United States. The portions at Pepi's are always generous, and the cuts of meat are always top notch! They even offer vegetarian options if that's your thing. Combine great food with their friendly attentive service and you get an outstanding casual dining experience. Their outdoor deck is the perfect setting to enjoy the fresh air in the beautiful Colorado mountains. What more can you ask for? Just don't remind my wife that she spilled red cabbage on her white shirt on our first date. While she was mortified at the time, it couldn't have been that bad since we've been together ever since!
