Vail Ale House

Good fare and cozy bar. I would like to see a better beer rotation or Staples that stick around. I'm not a big fan of the selection.

This place has really become a fabulous spot to hang out, listen to music, and have the best beer of your life. Josh and Amber really make the experience welcoming, i’ve been in the valley for over 30 years and this place is the best it’s ever been!

We came in on a Monday (holiday monday though), and it was very busy. It is a seat yourself kind of place (did not know that and stood at the door without an acknowledgement). Once sat, our waitress came. She was very overwhelmed with tables. I only saw maybe 3 wait staff the whole night. Every table was full. She warned us the food might take a while to come out, which was awesome she did. Helped our expectations. Once it came out, food was excellent, but we did not see our waitress the rest of the night. We just went to the bar and ordered more beer. Took 15 min to get a refill for water and by then, we were ready to leave. She was very busy, and needed help. No manager in sight.

Great spot for a beer and good pub food. A bit on the loud side, but we went on Friday and there was a large Christmas party. Service and food was quick even though they were very busy. Good beer selection on tap. Worth a visit when in Vail.

Very good burgers. But if you're looking for atmosphere and dining experience, look elsewhere. Vail Ale House is basically a bar hall and it was so cold inside that we never even took our ski parkas off.
