The Black Forest has always been a special place in Colorado Springs The addition of the Black Forest bistro has raised its status to exceptional. The Black Forest bistro has bought fine dining to the community of Black Forest and they are doing an excellent job. The wait staff was courteous and professional. Our waitress, Leslie, was attentive and responsive to all of our needs and questions.
For our appetizer my wife ordered the ceviche and mango salsa and I ordered the potstickers. The ceviche with mango salsa was served with freshly made wonton chips, and the potstickers, fresh from the wok we're served in a timely manner. Both of the appetizers were exceptional.
For our entrees my wife ordered the coq au vin and I had the sweet Korean noodles with beef. The presentation was outstanding. But the combination of flavors was even better.
Of course our dessert was the black forest cheesecake, again another gastronomical delight. We will be making this a regular weekly date night. I will recommend this to all of my friends and will definitely recommend this bistro to anyone looking for great food in a great setting.

What a refreshing change in the Forest! This place used to be dingy and stinky. It’s obvious they’ve put a lot of love into the restoration of this quant, old building. The food is delicious, poke, ceviche, and ahi are my favorite! Drinks are generous and tasty! You HAVE to check this place out!!
Opening with excellent food combinations. Pok'e that tastes like Hawaii. Lamb with matching ingredients. A Bistro based on the popular food truck by the same chef. Remodeled location where Descar's was in Black Forest, CO.
