Buttermilk

Made a reservation for the patio, no waiting upon arrival. Drink order taken immediately. Food came out within 7 to 10 minutes. Large portions and very delicious! I think the mimosas could use a little less juice. We will be back!

I got the bread pudding french toast and bacon, and it was super good and fresh! We didn’t have a wait to sit down and our food came out in a timely manner. This restaurant just opened so they’re obviously gonna have kinks to figure out but I thought they were good already!

Instead of good morning, I was asked if I had a reservation--which I did. First impressions count Buttermilk.

Our server Van was very good --maybe the best aspect of our visit and the food was tasty.

My son ordered a biscuit and it was large and flaky, he definitely enjoyed it. My eldest daughter ordered the Boss breakfast which I believe was four pancakes four strips of bacon four sausages and hash browns or country potato. It was as large as it sounded and of course she couldn't finish it in one sitting but for only $20 she felt it was worth it. I ended up ordering sides from the menu and they were good. Most of the table ordered orange juice and it tasted fresh squeezed.

One of my younger daughters ordered the kid's cheeseburger and country fries which she thoroughly enjoyed and my other young daughter ordered the kid's pancake and sausage meal. The daughter that ordered the pancake and sausage was not full and ended up eating one of her older sisters pancakes. So for a child over 6 or 7 with an average appetite the kids pancake meal would probably not be sufficient.

So why 3 stars? It was freezing. My arms and legs were covered, and I like the cold-- but it was freezing. So much so, our food got cold quickly and I had to run to my vehicle to get the blankets I keep in there so my little girls could stay warm. I did ask Van, our server to adjust the temperature and eventually it was adjusted, but not by much.

The cold temperature ruined what could have been a pleasant outing.

This recently opened restaurant is definitely going to do well! Our server gave us extra attention to make sure we enjoyed the best menu options. The service and food were very quick and super delicious. My husband loved the bread pudding french toast. I saw other reviews complain it was mushy - but it's bread pudding that's the point. The crispy outside is a perfect compliment to the bread pudding inside.
