Edelweiss German Restaurant

A nicely decorated restaurant that is even comfortable for customers. This restaurant provides fresh and healthy foods. I loved Their drinks in the Brewery, foods in the court. Great place to bring kids or family to have food. There are Table reservation and Takeout Facility.

It has been several years since I was last at Edelweiss but last I remember it was always very good! The veal schnitzel being one of my absolute favorites as well as their specialty was always a big hit. We would go every other Friday for lunch at work in a very large group and they were always accommodating...spacious dining rooms with a fairly large seating area outside.

Always good, treat yourself to Edelweiss during the Christmas season. The decorations outdoors as well as in, the warm fireplace, good food and good service, all make for a wonderful experience. We had the warm apple cider and were being good by having a curry chicken salad. But we did treat ourselves to the wonderful rum ball. Not so boozy that you miss the chocolate. It is divine! About the size of a golf ball. Check out all the decadence in their dessert case. You cannot pass it up, even if you are not a sweets person or on a diet! Gluten free available as well.

I always go to this restaurant when I visit my kids in Colorado Springs. Having lived in Germany for nine years, I'm always looking for an authentic German place to eat! This is one of the best I've found. The food is excellent, the dessert selection is huge and authentic. There are lots of selections of German beers to choose from. This is not the cheapest place in town, but it is well worth the money. The service is always great, with a very attentive wait staff. I like to sit out back in the open air seating area when the weather isn't too cold. Parking can be an issue because the restaurant is so popular. So, you might want to pick an off time and not go at peak hours. I've never had to wait more than five minutes, but I haven't been during peak hours.
