English Dockside Seafood-Grill

I’ve ate here twice and both times, the food was wonderful! I had the crawfish, potatoes and corn platter the first time! The second time I had the garlic rice with blue crab and shrimp and a side order of hush puppies! Let me just say, I don’t usually like hush puppies but these were the perfect texture and taste for me! It was all wonderful! I’m glad to see an Alabama native like myself serve good food at a reasonable price and show people that good seafood doesn’t only come from people from N.O.!

Delicious food and the breading/coating is definitely one of a kind. Glad to have tried Pico Seafood. Delivery was also super quick and the order was perfect and they gave us a ton of extra sauces and pickles for no extra charge. Super nice of them! The catfish and oysters are amazing, super fresh!! Both are must have items.

Just had lunch with my wife and are simply blown away. Between the sweet tea and lemonade both made from scratch. The server was amazingly polite and very family oriented. In the time we spent in the restaurant the server never stopped cleaning and ensuring we had all we needed!
The food came out seasoned to perfection. My wife had the salmon. The serving was very large with rice and green beans. Let's just say she has not stopped talking about it and making plans to return.
I had a platter of mixed foods and was blown away with flavor and textures. The chef came to the table and ensured we enjoyed the food.
After today's service I will be making this a regular stop.
Now when you arrive the prices do seem high but between the quality, quantity and service they are under charging in my opinion!

Without a doubt the best seafood spot in the springs. Me and my husband decided to give it a try this evening. We're mad we didn't go sooner the last time we had seafood this good was when we went to New Orleans. We will definitely be back and will recommend them to all of our friends. In addition the customer service was genuine and first class with a atmosphere that was so relaxing and enjoyable. 5stars...........

We have been dining at English Dockside since it opened at this location. We always get great seafood and service. The fish n' chips ad shrimp n' grits were excellent again this time, but we were sadly disappointed with the service. We entered the restaurant on Christmas Eve as the only table and were told we had to order food before our drinks. The friend that came before the rest of the table even had to beg for a drink while waiting because she was supposed to order her meal first. This is a first at a restaurant for me, as a server or a customer, very odd. Then, after our waiter insisted that it would be smoother for the table to order food first, then drinks, we ended up waiting for our drinks and then being served our food first, that still didn't come all together. We came to enjoy our meal, maybe have a couple of drinks, and have a nice holiday dinner out, but ended up feeling rushed. We will probably be back because of the lovely family that runs the restaurant, but we were very disappointed with our Christmas Eve experience.
