Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

Lazy Dog was an experience. The staff are wonderful and attentive. I'm a fan of the unusual and ordered the PB&J burger. I wasn't sure how it would be, but it turned out to be AMAZING. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the sweet, salty, savory mix of each bite made this an absolute must try. The fish and chips and dip sandwich were praised by my family. The grapefruit margarita is crisp, refreshing, and a great pair to the PB&J burger. Overall great experience and a great place to eat!

Great Restaurant! The ambiance is modern Colorado style. The servers are super friendly and they all wear flannel. The meals are familiar but with a dash of artistry that takes them into the 21st century. I recommend the Pot Roast French Dip. The one area of criticism for me is the price of Sodas. $3.15 for a Pop seems high, but otherwise I thought the prices were reasonable for this day and age. Also, their use of cloth napkins is a touch of class that I appreciate.

The staff is amazing here! Our whole tab was completely paid for by the restaurant because they thought we waited too long for our food! It wasn’t a long wait at all to us, especially considering how busy they are on Saturdays, but they insisted on it with free dessert! Sara our server was very professional and patient! Sara is by far the best server at any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Thank you Sara for your above and beyond service and pride in your work. Been here 3 times and the food and service has never disappointed. Best place in Colorado Springs to eat!

My wife & I finally got around to trying out this place. We had to wait for about an hour but it was well worth it. Everything about this place is top notch. From the service, to the food & drinks, even the atmosphere was enjoyable! Andy was our server & she was bubbly and funny, she had a smile and a sense of urgency the entire time. Even the manager stopped by to ask us how we were doing. We ordered the edamame which was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I had the shrimp and grits and my wife ordered the grilled lemon chicken, the food was executed perfectly and came out fairly quick considering the restaurant was busy and packed. We were too full to try desert but Andy made the butter cake sound out of this world so we will be back to try it and this time we’ll take her advice and order it first to make sure we have enough room. We will be back to try other things on the menu.

Great atmosphere at the restaurant. The wait was long but worth it. Service was top notch and the food was excellent. Server kept our drinks full which to us is a key part of our reviews as my husband can drink a pitcher of tea at a sitting! I had a burger and he had the boneless fried chicken and both were very tasty and came out hot. Yummy!!
