Macos Tacos Food Truck

With quite possibly the best tacos in town, if you happen to drive by Maco’s Tacos truck on Colorado Avenue and see the “Open” sign glowing, pull over and buy a taco (or three!). The prices are affordable and the food is heavenly. Maco’s service is also excellent, and any regular item on the menu is well recommended. The spicy salsas are plenty spicy and will do wonders to your meal.

Best street tacos I have ever had! We like cilantro and they were accommodating and gave us extra. Tamales are in the top 5 in my experience.

Fantastic food, my uncles and I stopped here on our way up to woodland park on a whim. The meat which is perceived as "overcooked" is actually cooked traditionally and to perfection. I am of mexican descent and have not had anything near the incredible quality of food here in the springs. You can also get a pretty sizable meal for around 8 bucks, pair with a glass of Mexican bottled coca cola for another 2 and you've got a deal. I will be back!

Overall I was disappointed in this particular truck. I ordered the breakfast burrito and give them an A+ on presentation and size. The burrito looked like the picture and was very large, even I was worried about being able to finish it. That is pretty much where the disappointment began. The Chili sauce it was smothered in was plentiful and spicy it lacked in flavor, spice without flavor. Which was just precursor to the general lack of flavor of the burrito itself. Think skillet potatoes wrapped in a tortilla. Lots and lots of potatoes it was a challenge to find any meat. I was overall disappointed. However, if you like plentiful food without much flavor this would be the dish for you.
