Marigold Cafe & Bakery

Had an awesome dinner here tonight! I loved my beef Bourgogne and my husband love his veal, but it was really the staff who made the meal. Our waiter dug through the cellar to find us a cab franc, and the owner passed our bread and treats for patrons to take home. The owner also watched a cute baby for a couple while they ate dinner - adorable! We would absolutely come back again. Don’t forget to save room for cake!

I ordered a German Chocolate cake for my MIL's birthday. She's in town, visiting from SC, and her German Chocolate cake is phenomenal, so o knew her birthday cake had to be really epic.
I'm not sure of the last time I put something so delicious in my mouth. It surpassed every possible expectation I could have imagined. There are layers of I don't even know what inside. It is absolutely delicious.
Aside from how good the cake was, they were also super accommodating. Don't hesitate to order this cake.

Great service and great food. The clam chowder was exceptionally good and I also enjoyed my salad nicoise. The fruit tart was delicious and one piece was plenty for the two of us. The manager was setting up for dinner and I called him over to compliment him. We had a lovely conversation. It was clear that he takes pride in the dining experience customers have. We took along some breakfast pastries which still tasted fresh the next morning. I will definitely return when I am in the area.

My stop today was just to pick up some of their amazing cinnamon twists. Yum! We have had lunch and dinner here in the past, always excellent. The menu emphasizes French classics but also offers burgers, streaks, pizzas, and more. The lunch Cobb salad is the best Cobb salad anywhere; it is one of my favorites.

This is the second time my office had our Christmas dinner at Marigold’s. Both times have been spot on. Fantastic service despite a very busy night with many large, holiday parties. All of our food arrived at the same time and was hot and delicious. Zero complaints from our group on cocktails, wine, food, or desert. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant!
