A fun venue ( go to Kiowa for entrance - don't be fooled by the Tejon address) deserving it's name. The back room seems nicest for quiet. A bit overpriced. But still a fun venue. Might be best for happy hour where appetizers might be half price.
First of all, the service was phenomenal. Our server was very knowledgeable and obviously confident in her position, suggesting dishes and making corny dad jokes about mussels and Brussels sprouts. Exceptional service aside, the food is just the right combination of comforting and exploratory, bringing new flavors to old favorites like meatloaf. The vibe in this establishment is Alice in Wonderland themed if you hadn't surmised from the name. Entering a subway-like entrance in the sidewalk, you'll descend into a hip atmosphere complete with twinkle lights and trippy artwork. Highly recommend!
Wonderful atmosphere, from the moment you walk in the door. I loved the cocktails (White Rabbit and Purple Drink. I had the seafood pasta, and it was delicious. Hannah was our server, and she was fantastic. A great date night dinner. Casual, but felt fancy. Highly recommend reservations (which you can make online).
Food and service was great. The food should have come out of kitchen hot after all we were some of your first customers of the day. Mussels and soup warm at best. Entree same way but delicious. Bartender fabulous drinks and personality.
What a fun spot! The entrance is like a subway entrance, unassuming but interesting. Once down in the restaurant you see all sorts of interesting art, fun nooks and a great bar. Try to get reservations in the room to the right, the main area...it’s more fun I think. The food is delicious! A little eclectic like rabbit meatloaf which was really good and huge! The seafood pasta was fabulous!!!! The Martin with the flaming marshmallow was so much fun!!!!
