The Skirted Heifer makes a discernible splash in the Downtown Colorado Springs food demographic with its unique spin on the classic American meal.

As a Colorado local for over 13 years, I can conclusively say that places like Skirted Heifer bring the previously-lackluster food scene of Colorado Springs to greater levels.
Not everything is butterflies and daffodils:
    1. The eating space is severely limited and lends itself to a couple on a date rather than a family out for a meal. (Note: The new Powers location remedies this vexing issue)
    2. The lines can become lengthy at times, leading to even less space available. (Not a chronic problem, but noticeable at times)
    3. There's a lack of drink options - the soda fountain only offers craft-brew sodas, and there aren't any beer options available.

However, despite what one must identify as shortfalls, Skirted Heifer more than overcomes these issues with positively sublime burgers and friendly service.
I highly recommend the classic Skirted Heifer burger (comes standard with a focaccia bun) with a traditional whole wheat bun and an order of their delicious fries. They have a wonderful fry sauce that works perfectly either drizzled on your hamburger or your fries alike.

You can't go wrong with this place - make it your next destination for lunch or dinner!

Any place that Guy Fieri recommends is pretty awesome and this place is no exception. I came here while on vacation. It is located in Downtown Colorado Springs which is a cool area itself. While the burgers were yummy it was the sweet potato fries that were fantastic. They were the best ones I have ever had. I had the burger of the week and my mom customized her own burger. Place is small with few seats but totally worth the stop for a unique burger.

This place popped up on my Diners, Drove Ins, and dives list. It's simple. It's delicious. It will make you fat.

I ordered the Pueblo Burger since I love chilies in all my food. It was tought to finish and I barely got to half my fries. The portions were big and the hand crafted soda dispenser had me sipping them all (since I never drink soda). Loved this place and you will too if you value a good old fashioned burger with a craft twist in a cozy setting.

We just happened to run across this tiny restaurant in Colorado Springs, and it was delicious!! There are many burgers to choose from, and you can have beef, turkey or vege. The toppings are delicious, the buns were great and the fries shoestring and delicious. There is homemade ketchup, fry sauce and ranch. They also have frozen custard (we tried chocolate) which was really good as well. When there, we saw that this restaurant had been on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I would definitely go back next time we are in Colorado Springs.

One of my all time favorite lunch spots in downtown! The burger is always fresh and juicy. The cheese is wonderful surrounding the burger! The best part is everything is fresh and made in house. Their sources add a wonderful touch to already amazingly prepared food. Oh and the soda is delicious and also made in house. If you haven’t been here check it out! They are a smaller restaurant; however if packed I recommend ordering an online pick up. They have also been recognized by many television networks for their individuality. Give them a taste, you will not regret it!
