Mood Tapas Bar

Wish I was more impressed. My husband and I stopped in for a drink and something to eat last Saturday. It was fairly early so we got a seat at the bar. I guess people don't go there to drink beer - they had literally nothing on tap. They do have some bottled beers on the menu, but were out of all of the ones I chose. We got past that, then wanted to order some food, and found that most of what we wanted to order off the menu was unavailable also. Were they going through a menu change? Couldn't figure it out but was very disappointed. On the upside, the servers and bartenders were great. Nice people and very attentive and apologetic for being out of so many things. Afterward, we went back to D11 in the back to check it out and get a drink there. We were impressed by the really cool vibe back there and once again mosied up to the bar. The place was fairly empty (it was early) and we were the only two at the bar, but for some reason the bar tender ignored us for 10 or 15 minutes while he chatted with the servers and did other things. We did finally get some drinks (no beer on tap again) and tried one of their chocolate desserts which was really good. We may give it another shot, but if we do we're hoping for a better experience.

Highly recommend this new spot. Opted for the chef's tasting menu for two, which is a terrific deal considering it includes a wine pairing. It was awesome to try a lot of things outside my usual comfort zone. It's always commendable when you can try very huble yet elevated ingredients like almonds or olives, but also include classic options like Kobe beef or pork belly. I'll be recommending it to all my friends and colleagues.

I had the best birthday dinner ever at this new restaurant! The food was beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious! We had the "Chef's Tasting" where the Chef chose a variety of dishes from the culinary menu that included wine pairing for each course. I really loved the tapas theme (cuisines presented in smaller portions) of the restaurant. This enables you the opportunity to expand your taste buds by trying and sharing several new dishes with your friends and family. The atmosphere was elegant, warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to going back again soon!

First timer to this fine establishment. The District Eleven bar in the back is fantastic — cool speakeasy vibe to it. Pretty large, dark and cozy atmosphere with a ton of interesting pictures on every wall. The drinks were out of this world and a great selection of classic and spirit-forward cocktails. After enjoying a drink, we had dinner in the tapas bar. Really nice selection of small plates to share. The Spanish meatballs and chorizo stuffed mushrooms were my favorite. An overall great evening — we’ll be back!

Had a great time Last night. Cozy atmosphere, nice selection of drinks and cocktails. Servers had a great recommendations for food and drinks. Certainly enjoyed the goat cheese stuffed peppers. ????
