“I have been going to Rosie's for over 13 years, and generally I love it. The food is good, and the service friendly. Yesterday my wife and I stopped in before a doctor's appointment, so we were on a time limit. Calle our server was very nice, but left our food on the counter for a good 5 minutes while she chatted with the hostess and took care of other things. Then she looks at our food the order tag, and then serves food that came out for people that ordered after us. Then to make matters worse she starts taking orders for another table while still ignoring our food. If my wife had not told her our order was up and can we get it please she would have just left it there. My breakfast was not hot when I got it, but I did not have the time to get it remade. Rosie's staff used to be a tight ship, bit lately it seems they really don't care like they did. Not good in a small town.”

“SPICY ranch sauce. A little goes a long way. When the prep is BEYOND generous, the mouth continues to burn like I had eaten hot lava. I tried to stick to the top edges, finding a nice crunch, but eventually I went back down to the filling, hunger pains getting the best of me, only to be reminded of the safe word; spicy ranch sauce. Oh the screaming flames down the back of my throat are making me wonder if I have enough drink to counter the fire of the last third. I can not even imagine braving the second one.”

Every once in a while something might happen, they give you the wrong soda, or there is a delivery driver who tries to tell you directions to your own house (that still cracks me up) I want to make a shout out to Ashlie. “I’ve been going to the Coffee Cup since I was a boy in Monument. We always called it the local ‘greasy’ spoon but that was an affectionate term. Their breakfasts are large and generous with their home style hash brown potatoes being delicious and NOT from a bag. They also let you trade out the choice of toast for silver dollar cakes (which are also generous in size). You won’t leave breakfast hungry here and if you get their early enough, the special will get you fueled up for the day.”

“Very good date with my husband. Nice atmosphere, clean, quick friendly service. I had the sweet and sour chicken and my husband had chicken with broccoli. We both liked our meals, both were combos. The soup and egg rolls were good, but oh my goodness the crab-rangoon I will be craving now!! I liked how they had free hot tea. Many places have stopped that. Only thing I would say was there was no music, which would have been nice.”
