Village Smithy Restaurant

This was my first time at village smithy and I CANNOT WAIT to come back! I went with my friends recommendation of the mchuevos and it was life changing. Cole was the most fun server ever and very quick! He even brought my friend a birthday gift card at the end of our meal. Cole and village smithy 10/10 would recommend.

This place my "go to place" when I'm feeling malnourished. I just ask for a recommendation and I've never been unsatisfied. Rodrigo was my server and asked me to do this, and he deserves it. Great server, chill, and he read my social preferences like a book. I had a tofu and rice meal with veggie sausage and eggs on the side. I never pick that kind of thing because I'm not the health nut type. But after my experience there, if they asked if I'd like health nuts in my food, I would be delighted.

Alli was the best. We're here from Canada and she made the experience perfect. Food was fresh and the homemade strawberry jam was SOOOOOO GOOD. I'd give her 6 stars if I could. I would recommend that anyone who comes here request Alli as your server. Enjoy your meal and great customer service!

Is a small mom and pop type of restaurant. We ate here twice for breakfast while in town. The one morning we had this special, the kitchen sink, and it was very good. I don't remember what we had on the second morning but I do remember we enjoyed it as well. My girlfriend loved the jam and actually bought a jar to bring home. Would definitely eat her again if in the area.

This breakfast/lunch restaurant was a great way to start my birthday! Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and a hearty meal was perfect. Our server was very polite and tentative. The food was delicious, no complaints. Can't wait to return to Carbondale and visit the Smithy!
