Iron Horse Tap

The pizza sauce is to die for. We ordered the veggie and iron horse pizza. The sauce had a sweet tomato taste and the crust was perfect. In the middle of the crust was thin and crispy. The edges were light, airy, crispy, yet with the perfect amount of dough. The meat on the iron horse was the right ratio of pizza to meats without over powering the whole thing. On the veggies the mozzarella was good quality. I was originally skeptical of the banana peppers, but they were not spicy, but added a good vinegar tang to the mozzarella.

Good place, lots of locals there. Good selection of beer and affordable prices. My son loved the wings, the brat was fair. The reason for 3 stars is that the bar tenders were not attentive at all. Maybe because I wasn't a local but my drink was empty, they would ask the person next to me and ignore me and my son unless I interrupted them. It was my first time in and just there for a short trip so won't be back, but if back in town I probably just head into Crested Butte. The 15 min bus ride opens up to more friendly places.

Great place to get a beer and wings. Pizza crust is awesome!! Good vibes.
