Slow Groovin BBQ

Consistently great food and service (everything we've had has been top notch) our meals are regularly followed by hot from the oven chocolate chip cookies. Due to the increasing popularity and demand for GREAT BBQ (best in the state as far as we're concerned) the wait time for a table has increased and you really should have more than 1 unisex restroom. Most foodies don't mind the drive and as a photographer, it's not a hardship to travel to this beautiful location for fantastic food! We have been fans of Slow Groovin' BBQ since the beginning and will continue to anxiously await their opening every year... planning as many trips as we can to visit before their season ends. Thanks to the owners and crews who work so hard doing what they love! Keep it up!! (Dined again 7-2-22) 17 year Anniversary for us.. I think it's 9-11 years for SG BBQ. We look forward to it several times every year. Thanks again. 💜

This place had excellent food. Was here with my father. He had the brisket sandwich. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The brisket was awesome. The pulled pork was very tender and good, but the meat was luke warm and could have been hotter. The fries were excellent and lots of them.

Went to visit CO with a friend who is a local to the area. She recommended this place. We went on Saturday. It was AMAZING. Worth the drive. Worth the money. I thought the drinks were good. Service was good. Food size was adequate. We got the 2 meat platter and it was enough food. Definitely recommend this as a place to visit. The drive there is breath taking. I would advise to check when they are busy, it's a smaller joint and they can get packed/busy fast. We missed the rush and didn't wait long.

What an awesome place to randomly stumble upon. We drove by and just had a good feeling this place was the vibe we were looking for. The drinks, the food, and the service were all excellent. Hope to be back!

Stopped here on a whim while heading to Crystal Mills. They were without power when we showed up, so their menu was limited. Our server had the best attitude about it.
Before our food arrived, the power came back on and the server asked if we would like to change our order since the full menu was available, we chose not to and I’m glad we did. Because we had the ribs and they were the best I’ve ever had.
