Louis' Cafe

The food is delicious and plentiful. I had a breakfast burrito and it was excellent, with extra to take home! Can't remember what mom ordered, but she didn't have to get a box for leftovers. Service was slow, which is the 4 star vs 5. She just didn't seem to want to be there.

If you live in the Denver West Golden area, you owe it to yourself to take a breakfast trip to Louie's Diner. I'm sure you could also go there for lunch, but I can't speak for it although I'm sure he's equally as good. Put your fad diet on the back burner for the morning, and treat yourself to it's chicken fried chicken or a breakfast burrito. Or perhaps some corned beef hash. All of which are outstanding wash it all down your gullet with a cup of rich black gold. Whatever you choose, I'm sure you will walk away satisfied!

Affordable, clean and tasty AM café without the crowds of downtown Golden, it's worth the short drive. Pancakes were fluffy and flavorful. Love their orchid display.

The food is good, but nothing special. The service is just barely "okay". I guess it depends on the day. But, I came in for breakfast here three times to see if my first impressions were right. They were. The place is just "okay", but on the lower end of "okay". The service could be much, much better than it seems to be.

Passing through on Sunday and found this fabulous place for breakfast! Super yummy. The green chili skillet and chicken fried steak are amazing.
